“I Love You”

An AID’s kid holding an AID’s baby.
This 9 month old baby was found at 6 month’s old abandoned in a toilet by it’s AID’s parents.  The baby had no name, so they gave it a name in Africana which means “I love you.”

Dave At A Local Radio Station

Here’s Dave being interviewed about the team’s work at a local radio station.

AIDS Children

ALL of these precious kids have AIDs.

Hello From Africa!

A BIG smile from Africa.

Feed The Stomach & The Spirit

Salvation In Shanty Town

Most of these prayed to accept Jesus as their Savior in a squater shack village.

Young Men Accept Jesus

These two kids were homeless in Capetown and both accepted Jesus as their Savior.  We got them some food to eat.  Believe it or not, one is 16 and the other is 17 years old.

African Orphan

Believe it or not, there are literally millions of orphans in Africa.

South Africa March 22,2007

March 23, 2007

Dave called today and said he is having trouble getting internet access; this entry is being posted from Orlando on his behalf.

Dave said there were over 50 in attendance at this first training session and they will be going out tomorrow to share the Gospel in the surrounding areas.  They saw 2 saved today at an AIDS home plus 10 kids saved just around town so far. Tomorrow the team will be at some of the local public schools and more AIDS clinics.  All is well with their health and the plans are going as they should so far. Thanks for all the prayers. They are 7 hours ahead of us.

God’s Love In Africa

March 19, 2007

Join me as I travel to South Africa with co-laborers Mike O’Carroll and Jeff Connors as we team up with Malvory Peffer’s ministry, God’s Love In Africa. While we are in South Africa we will be conducting training sessionswith pastors, ministry workers, and lay people desiring to learn how to share the Gospel with their families, friends, and neighbors on the continent of Africa.

Being that I don’t know what we will encounter regarding Internet access I will make entries into the blog here whenever I can gain access to a computer with Internet access.

We so covet your prayers for us as we travel and train these folks who are hungry for the Word of God. Please pray for these also:

  • For our families as we are away.
  • For our co-workers in South Africa
  • For those coming to the training sessions.
  • For the families of those attending the training sessions.

Thank you,

Dave Hook
